About Us

I'm Laura, a freelance cycling journalist who always felt a deep connection to this sport. Cycling represents passion, personal growth and community.

I started practicing this sport over twelve years ago, although I've been a loyal follower of it since childhood, thanks to the influence of my family. It's a sport that undoubtedly captivated me.

​

Years later I started by discussing cycling topics on my own blog, Laura's Bike, which subsequently led me to have the opportunity to collaborate regularly with different media outlets such as Sexto Anillo, Feim Kilometres of IB3, and High Cycling, as well as occasionally for international media like Tuttobiciweb.  Additionally, I spent a period collaborating as a cycling specialist on a regional radio program. All of this gave me the chance to experience professional cycling up close, learn extensively about such a complex sport, and to travel and attend to diverse procycling competitions during some seasons and meet diverse people and places connected to it.

Additionally, I was able to work and gain insights into other perspectives and roles, such as hospitality and organizing cycling events through a specialized tour operator in Belgium and through a professional team that allowed me to experience firsthand events as significant as the Tour of Flanders, Paris-Roubaix, or the Tour de France.

Currently, I remain connected to the digital media Le Puncheur where I write a trendy affairs opinion column and conduct interviews about road cycling in major cycling competitions. However, I have long been contemplating the idea of creating a space that could bring together diverse communication professionals and attract enthusiasts of this sport to showcase and offer stories, content, and details that, at times, get overlooked by mainstream media outlets.

At The Cycling Bunch, we don't just want to be a media outlet, but also an active and participatory community. We aim to offer diverse content, from articles on cycling topics as well as interesting interviews or photojournalism of cycling events. We want to grow through different platforms and formatats. Moreover, we're open to receiving contributions from our users because we firmly believe in the power of collaboration and idea exchange.
